Laidley coached Weston Creek in Canberra this year and took the same bunch of players from last in 1998 with one win to third in the competition. His preparation of the team was faultless and the amount of time spent preparing has never been seen before in the ACTAFL. He would make an excellent assistant to Malthouse.
