Not one player was deserving of a vote today. It will be interesting to see who gets more than 1 vote at the copeland

Out best players were

Beams
Harry O

Sorry to say, the rest played well below expectations and were not worthy of a mention

sidebottom was very good IMO, possibly our worst player last week and i was rapt to see him stand up, i think the G suits the kid much more than the dome.

davis, davis had less than 10 disposals (i think) but was instrumental in the win, im giving him 2 votes, he stood up when we needed him, not a great game by leons standards though by any stretch.

pendles was ok too, nothing flash though, 1 vote from me.

3 sidebottom

2 leon

1 pendles.

beams unlucky, played well.
wellers also held his own i thought.

the whole team looked flat and tired - what happened in recovery??

didak -GET IN FRONT!

jack - looked very tired and disinterested.

ben reid - WHY??????? where was obree??

harry looked slow for him.

heath was obviously fed up being the only one in the back 50 for 1/2 the game.

umpires - OMG like kids sport they get a shit team and let them do what they want - hows the neck leon?? spoils anyone?? advantage paid to them but we take the ball back!! Maxwell in the back - is he an octopus?? his hands were in the air!

harry stupid free in front of goal, same as jolly to many give me's.

dont anyone knock daisy -he gave his heart today, just didnt have anyne backing him up!

bet the saints are shaking in their shoes!!!
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

3. Davis - One of the only ones that really tried to take the game on. Had the most intensity of any Collingwood player on the ground and it showed.
2. Beams - Lucky he came in because he was one of the few that went in for their own footy then backed it up with some hard running along the wing.
1. Sidebottom - Came back very well after a dissapointing start last week. Showed why he gets selected. Was alot cleaner than most.

Thought Ben Reid is worthy of a mention. Didnt really notice him all day which as a defender is probably a good thing more so than bad. Was put under the pump on a few occassions on the last line in defence and won out each time. A big step for Reidy today.

I agree with ad4eva that Davis was very good. Played his role to perfection: he made seven tackles, kicked the matchwinner in the end, and 12 of this 13 possessions were contested. He had a real crack all match. For that, I'm giving him the three.

Davis 3
Sidebottom 2
Beams 1

I don't think any of these players will poll in the Brownlow, though.

Come off the grass you guys! Davis gets 3 votes.........for what? A last quarter goal? Did you not see Steele Sidebottom slaving hits guts out all day?
I must have been watching another game. Normally I don't comment of the votes of others but seriously guys........Davis 3 votes? Unbelievable!
After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!
Collingwood rules the world again and Mick Malthouse fulfils his destiny with the twenty ten premiership and can you hear the people sing!

Neil, I gave my reasons for giving Davis three, so there should be no need to ask me, right? I gave Sidebottom two, so he was definitely noticed. But getting 20+ possessions isn't everything.
