Good Old Rusty Side Arse.

The boy can play!
Well the one I always think of is the Port Adelaide final in 2002. It was just one of the most disciplined team performances that I have ever witnessed - be it in football or any other team sport - NB

Steele will be Something Special

Post by Dave The Man »

He has been good in the 4 games and Last Night was Fantastic.

He is great around Traffic and very Smarter user of the Ball. Loved his goal last night.

Still needs more Penetration on his Kicks but that is his only big thing he needs to work on

What a Steal  at pick 11

He already is something special. The question is will he develop beyond the "potential" stage into a genuine A grade player or flounder. Personally I have no doubt he'll become a first rate player.

Best indication was last years final against Adelaide. Stood up when it counted.

This kid is really something special and is very much in the GA jr class as he can just impose him self on a game and come up with quality posession when required.

He is part of the reason why the midfield is getting better along with Beamer, Wellingham and Pendles they are a quality young nucleus that can like the Lions Fab 4 of the 3peat era.

All 4 are quality players and are now kicking goals or at least having shots as well.

If we combine that with Jolly, Wood and Josh in the ruck it all looks a lot better than in prior years.

When he manages to add a bit of bulk to his small frame he'll be unstoppable.

Steele is a gem.

Thank God Hine is the recruiter and not some of us, me included.

How's Swift going?

P.S-Anyone else feel that Dayne doesn't seem to be kicking with as much penetration as he showed last year or am I just being a worry wart?

P.P.S-Looking forward to seeing how young Sinclair and J.Thomas go when returning from injury, promising types who hopefully will mean we'll have a supply of midfield talent for years to come. Add McCarthy, Blight and Blair to that as well.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

love the 2 feet

On another note, last night confirmed to me that Didak is the best left footed right kick I've seen!

left, left... left, right, left!
left, left... left, right, left!

And there is no sign of any hesitation when electing to kick on right

spot on nulla, most left footers inclination is to swing around to their favoured side. Apart from the obvious straightening of the angle from long range you hardly see that with Dids.

Ok, I'm aware this a Steele thread... Carry on :)
