I'm thinking Toovey vs Stokes, O'Brien vs Johnson, Macaffer vs Chapman, Prestigiacomo vs Podsiadly, N.Brown or Reid vs Hawkins, Maxwell vs Mooney, Shaw vs Byrnes/Varcoe.
For mine...

Johnson - O'Brien
Podsiadly - Maxwell
Hawkins - N Brown
Mooney - Reid
Stokes/Byrnes/Varcoe/Chapman - Shaw/Toovey/Johnson

how about johnno on chapman?
I like this a little better, but the risk is they will drag him deep.

Anyone get down to training this week? If so did Wellingham and Medhurst train?

Yeah, tending towards the argument that we stay with the young side, with Medders and Wellers the only likely ins pending fitness, with Barham as another young option. This game is not the defining game it is being made out to be - that happens later in the year. We are on the right trajectory, meaning that our continued development and the party line "we just have to stick to our structures" is what counts most at this stage.

Game of tactics this one, will this be a high scoring game or a very physical clash with minimal scores? No wonder it's live, glad I am going as no matter what happens we will benefit.

I lead by 5 in the footy tipping in the two I am involved with, have to go the pies as I either drop one or step further ahead. :D

The form of Travis Cloke.
Made comment about the unfair criticism of a young player when they have a bit of a dip in form. Also mentioned, that even in his "lean" times, he was playing quite well, just not kicking a lot of goals. Stan now rates Trav as one of the best CHFs in the comp.
What's the cut-off for "one of the best"? His good recent form is very encouraging, however, consider the following numbers. Now I know stats aren't the whole story, and yes, this list is a mix of CHF/FF types, but Trav's scoreboard impact doesn't exactly stand out. I am not having a shot at Trav. I just think some of the assessments of him are generous at this stage.
Nice table, would be more relevant if you were comparing all these other players based on their performances as 23 yo's with about 100 games to their names.
Yep...that's the point. He is only 23, and may yet become a leading CHF, but he's not there yet. Goals kicked is only one point of reference, but I'd say it's right up there as a key indicator for KP forwards. Here's average annual goals kicked for Trav, Roo & Brown over their careers to date. You could infer from this that Trav is tracking quite well at this stage. I look forward to him taking it to the next level as he starts to enter his prime.

Sorry to say it, but the collection of smileys matches the coherence of the post. Who knows what it is trying to say?
