What are you listening to right now?
Is it the radio? Television? The birds and the bees? An mp3?
I'm currently listening to the Bettye LaVette song 'Before The Money Came'
It's song 9 on her album 'Scene Of A Crime'.
She's been around for decades...broke thru again about 5 years ago after having limited success throughout the previous 4 decades. A great story of perseverance.
So what are you listening to right now?

I'm now listening to an album called 'Bryter Layter' by a somewhat obscure musician from the 70's named Nick Drake. He died of a drug overdose in 1974 at the age of 26.

Bob Brozman plays the blues.
Also taped live at the basement last night so I've heard a little of '"Loudon Wainright 3rd" on ABC 2. Got quite a few of his CD's & some LP's. Father of Rufus & Martha as well as another daughter from a differnt marriage Lucy Wainright Roche - Loudon married one of the "Roaches" who sang a song or two on the "Brother where art thou" CD soundtrack to the Coen brothers fim of the same name.
Also put on 2 other LP's recently while washing dishes / cooking tea doing F/A:
1. Crime of the Century - Supertramp - on LP with valve amps warmed nicely - a brilliant Album IMO.
2. Alain Stivell Live - a very old Album who I was into in the 70's in one small part of my life - French Celtic music that really rocked - saw him live at festival Hall in the late 70's great concert & Album & band.
