Well back at ya idiots. I'll let you bathe in Magpie Mediocrity.

I'm sick of the current regime promising something they cannot deliver, remember Eddie saying we expect to win a premiership in the next 3 years. Well 2009 is gone, 2010 is heading south quickly, and the only positive I will take is it's another nail in MM's coffin. Although wait on, Eddie is still there, so MM is safe until end of 2011. What is Eddie still doing there, No premierships since 1999. It's time for change and for Buckley to step in.

It's time to delist the deadwood of O'Bree, Rusling, Cook, Wood, Corrie, Johnson.

It's time to play youth Blair, Goldsack, N.Brown, Barham, Dick. Hell even L. Brown is better than the chump Wood.

And it's a bit late to waste my money on these wasters as I've already bought tickets for the swans game and bought a weekend in melbourne to watch them play carlton. So I'm lamenting the curse of all magpie fans. The team and the club are an embarrassment. Tonight shows the real collingwood for what it is. Prentenders with no heart, sometimes titillating sometimes attractive but ultimately disappointing.

I'll let you wallow in the mediocrity as some of you seem to accept it.
its time to go ...millane 42

can the mods please take the name off this turd because it is a total insult to a true collingwood hero - clubman who would turn in his grave at such crap being spewed about his beloved team -

u need to go and "support" another team

Last couple of weeks he keeps running under the ball and having to reach up and over his head making it easy for the defenders to spoil.

He needs to judge better so that when he has his arms up and extended they are out in front of him. I think this is something that can be worked on but most effectively over a pre-season rather than a week-to-week thing when training is more recovery based.

I am too angry and pissed off to comment right now.

We were pretty close to chicken shit tonight. Remember when the Collingwood Football club was a hard tough blue collar team, we are now dangerously close to the complete opposite of that, either way both styles are not good enough but hard and tough is better to watch. Not sure where that leaves us now, tonight has lost me. Need to beat the Dogs next week by playing tough, uncompromising footy or our credentials won't be worth a pot to piss in.

Didak - 2 early goals then nothing - stay on your feet - weak as piss!!! Club has backed you - about time you pay back!!! Phucking harden up princess!!!!!!!

Ben Reid - stick with this kid - how bout the push in the back by Brown - phunkin umpires!!!!!!!!! - stung Maxwell just prior. Needs games.

Mick - we got carved through the middle - any ideas? Maybe Shaw - he was well tagged down back.

Jolly and Ball - ordinary tonight but we are still a better team with them.

Good one. And I'll defend your right to the death to say it. There are too many PC Eddieland supporters around on Nick's I'm afraid. As DTM says, "They can't handle the truth."

Opps! "I'll defend to the death your right to say it." Damn that Jim beam is kicking in fast!

Time to comment.

Piss off Hiss. If you can still see the keyboard then your not pissed enough.

True, and those who are happy to accept mediocrity from this club.

would like to see him destroy an opponent filling the hole in front of him. Do it once, they will fear him and it will open up the space to lead into a take a chest mark. Our F50 is far to congested for a leading forward.

Agree, don't drop Dawes

JA looks third rate because of the congestion, and second rate because of, well, himself.

We pretty much lost in all areas. Got pantsed, and still only got done by 8 points. Very disappointing how badly we played, we're way off the boil.

Jack was particularly disappointing.

Any chance we can apply some forward pressure?

Maybe we were harsh on Leon.

The quicker Leon and Dicky can get back to full fitness the better and O'Bree and Anthony can chase kicks and go to ground and not chase in the VFL.

How quickly some forget.

Eddie arrived with the club on its knees, both on and off field. Wooden spooners and in serious debt. He went and got one of the top 3 coaches in the league at the time and set about creating a culture where success could be possible.

One finals appearance between 1992-2001. Then;

2002 gf loss to one the greatest vfl/afl teams in history
2003 gf loss - never in it, smashed
2006 elimination final v dogs
2007 prelim v cats after extra time win in perth, oh so close
2008 semi final v st kilda
2009 prelim v cats - shown to be the younger, weaker mob we are
2010 7-3, looking good for another finals campaign

still think this group is 2-3 yrs from a flag but dont pretend the last decade hasnt provided pies fans with some of the more exciting times in your life following this club - or did you prefer the tony shaw era of bottom six every year?

of course we would have loved a flag in that time but they dont give them away

eddie and MM have been fantastic for this club - not perfect by any means and sometimes frustrating as hell but still fantastic.

yes, it might be time for a change in both positions but it doesnt detract from them having taken a wooden spooner club with chronic debt playing at a derelict suburban ground to a regular finals contender, two time grand finalist, financially sound (generally...), with a young list playing out of the G as our home ground with 57000 members urging them on.

i say it every week - avg age/games experience of last 10 premiers is 26yrs/124games.

tonight we were 24/91 and even that is skewed higher than normal with presti coming back

'the team and club are an embarrasment.' if you actually believe that, youre supporting the wrong club and i encourage you to look elsewhere.
i hear richmond are in need.
