Great selections Tannin, my thoughts precisely. Tarks is due for one more go to see how he is, perhaps McCaffer should have a rest for him. I thought Meds would come in four sure, but i heard hes not ready.

Would Love Medder and Leon to be 100% for thi smatch. But in reality, I doubt Medders would be right or match fit.

I don't know why we can't have a teams thread that lives for more than 30 damn seconds on the board before some over-zealous mod goes button-crazy and merges it into the match thread where, as always, it's impossible to find any damn thing or carry on a sensible discussion because it's just too long and crowded. Merge later if you must, but this merge-everything-instantly drives me spare.Same as it does most other members. It's not needed and it's not wanted. Just don't do it, OK?

Sigh.


If we accept the convention that players named on the ground will start and some of those named on the extended bench will drop out to miss the final 22, then it is interesting and a little disconcerting.

Obviously, only one of Fraser, Wood, and Brown will play. Who will be the other one to miss? It's out of Wellingham, Dawes, Sidebottom, and Lockyer, so you would expect Lockyer to miss unless Wellinham is on the outer now after poor performances these last two weeks since they rushed him back in before he was ready. (When will we stop doing this idiot trick? FFS, if they aint fit, pick some other bugger. That's what the reserves are for!) Strange to see Barham missing after his excellent form and given that he is tailor-made to compete against the nimble Doggies.

But the reality is, I suspect, that Medhurst is not fit, and Davis may not be either. So, as a late change, we will see:
OMITTED FROM THE 22: Fraser, Wood, Lockyer.
LATE CHANGE OUT: Medhurst, Davis(?).
LATE CHANGE IN: Lockyer, Barham (?).

When do the reserves play this week? THat will tell us something interesting.
