Pied Piper wrote:A mid-80s psych LP by an obscure Adelaide band I'd never heard before, the Garden Path. It's pretty good, in a Syd Barrett-era Floyd kind of way.

Also an EP by an even more obscure but utterly wonderful Adelaide all-girl teenage trio called Dandelion. I've written a piece about them, which I'll post when it's published in a week or so. It'll have links to their stuff.
The aforementioned Dandelion piece is up. Click through the links to hear them - they're astonishing, and they were only 13 when they made the EP. :shock:

Well I've spent the last week listening to Simon and Garfunkel, Enya, Heart, Josh Groban and the Backstreet Boys (I can't believe I just wrote that :oops: )

After a week of this I came to the realisation that my testosterone levels had obviously dropped waaaaay to low so I did the only sensible thing I could. I put my AC/DC, Angels, and Metallica collection into my stereo, turned the volume up, and hit the repeat button. Then I had a couple of friends come over for a four hour menage et trois.

End result my testosterone levels are back to normal :D and as an added bonus I lost 5 kilo's :twisted:

A mixture today:

1. The best of Aretha Franklin (In the car CD);

2. Duke Ellington's "New Orleans Suite";

3. Johan Sebasatian Bach: Brandenberg Concertos's (number 4 & 5) (while washing dishes & getting some of the tea ready for tonights herd back from work school & other).

Bought the latter (naxos collection) many years ago & got to listen to a fair bit of it today.

Oh holidays, time to dust off the CD's & loving it!
