Along with the 07 Geelong win, probaby one of the best team wins.
No passengers and 4 qu effort.
Also thought it was one of L Browns best games for the club.

Really played well, gave the Saints a dose of their own medicine.

The pressure we applied was great.
Much rather win this game than those ones, great win, lets not forget that the Saints and Cats both lost to Carlton and 1 SA team each as well, dont want to totally dominate the H&A season, look at Port around 02-03 and St Kilda last year, losses keep the lid on and give the players regular reality checks

Anyway great win today, top spot is vital this year, a far easier 1st final than finishing 2nd/3rd then again after today no reason to fear the Saints :D

It seems Carlton helped expose the way to beat them, go small not tall

Leon.

He didn't blow the game apart and he's still a few gears down, but he is all class. I'm backing him to come out firing in the finals.

importantly didn;t go missing in a big game. Not a A grade game, not even B grade, but an encouraging 4 quarter game. About time too.

Hope Leon rips it up in September.

It'll be the opposite of the usual and that can only be a good thing for us !!

Geez Brown was strong and important this afternoon. Did all that would've been asked and more.

He creates so much pressure inside our attacking 50. Even without his mojo he creates headaches for the opposition.

Dale was sensational. Took a big hit and came back with courage. Would have earned plenty of respect with that effort.

I'm not totally sold on a one ruck policy - but with Brown showing so much heart and with Jolly at the peak of his game, it's hard to argue against it.
