Yep awesome. Great team effort, the Saints tried everything, Dal Santo wasn't the difference, he would've just been smashed too.

Thomas played a great game - the two inside 50's at the start aside - he was in everything, chasing and tackling and a big part of the win.

Leon Davis is so close to playing well, one day he'll get his touch from 90% to 100% and kick 6, but today not quite.

Leigh Brown take a bow great game.

Umpires - jokes the lot of them, but suffer in your jocks we won anyway :D

GO PIES!!

Wow, just Wow, that was amazing, from start to finish.

We won every quarter, we dominated them from start to finish, and the best thing is we are only going to get better.

We still have Maxwell, Cloke and Dick to squeeze into that side, not to mention the likes of Rounds, Medhurst, Buckley (BOG in the VFL).

We have more depth then any other premiership contender, and we showed that today.

And 80,000, wow, against a pissy little club like StKilda, the army was sure out today.

If the Tigers win tomorrow, the G will be soldout next week. :D

Big Bad Leroy Toast

Post by nulla »

Well this guy is now giving back all that faith shown in him by the club and his last few weeks have been great.

He was never a FF and is in reality a very good utility player with heaps of skill that is coming to the suface due to his pure hard yacka and the selectors giving the guy a chance and of coarse MM for playing him in the role he now plays

Some of his handballs have been eyepopping and not to mention his kicks for goal.

His left footer when he shook rattled and rolled onto his left foot and slammed home from 50m was for me goal of the day

Go Leroy
I have a lazy eye and I think it is now spreading throughout the rest of my body

Big game.

Leon? tick :D
L.Brown? tick :D
B.Johnson? tick :D
Didak? tick, tick, tick and tick :D :D :D

Milne: massive fail

As far as home and away wins go, it doesn't get much better. This is the most satisfying win I can remember for the last 10 years. Much more so than '07 win over the Cats; have never hated the Cats like I do the Saints at the moment. A bloody awesome feeling to 1. smash such a despicable team, and 2. put to bed the ridiculous "big game failure" talk, both for the team and the individual players above.

Great win, and anyone who denies that Mick Malthouse is an awesome coach, is a bum!

Who's smirking now Rossy?
Well done boys!

Go Leroy
Has been kicking really well recently. Looks a much better player when he's kicking 3 goals instead of 0.3.

I've been of the opinion all along that Fraser would make his way back into our best 22. Too good to leave out; possibly the most skilled 200cm+ player in the comp. However, with Leroy's good form, and Dawes's solid efforts at full forward, it's looking less and less likely.

The thing that clinches it for Leroy at the moment is his competitiveness and aggression. Really important in big games, and something that is lacking in Fraser's game. He'll definitely play again, but not certain he'll be there come finals.
Well done boys!
