Well, these are the games we have to start winning if we are serious about being flag contenders.

No excuses. We must give it 100%.

As I said in the pre-match thread.

We did it.

Superb efforts from the whole team. Lot's of positives.

Swan - is there a better more reliable midfielder in the AFL at the moment?

Leigh Brown - great work and hasn't he improved his goal kicking (Sorry but that's the end now for Fraser at Collingwood).

Ben Reid - a star is born. Magnificent game, great marking under pressure.

Presti - wonderful job as usual.

Heater - brilliant in the first half, absolutely top notch.

Ball - wasn't that a lovely way to stick the knife into them.

Leon - showed that he hasn't completely lost this ability.

The Caff - talk about depth in our team now.

Didak - stood up when needed.

Daisy - another brilliant gutsy effort.

BJ - more like his early season form. Completely put the St Kilda Therapist out of business.

The only thing that I could say was a possible negative is that this game confirmed that Tarks will finish at the end of this season. Too slow in mind and body I'm afraid.

cant believe some of the more learned football followers on here didnt know presty was a lock to take the cry baby, many suggesting reid, sack, presty is the best stopper in the bussiness, bar none!!!

Watched the delayed telecast on Australia network, so I had to keep away from Nick's as I was a quarter behind. Oh the joy of beating that filthy club! Awesome game; loved every second of it.

Super team effort. Pretty much agree with jack_spain's assessment. Ben Reid is a gun, the tide is turning for Leon, Swanny is of course a star, Caff had his best game to date and also imposed himself physically, and that was a big return for the Leroy faithful. Great team effort, including from the usual suspects and of course Presti.

And I still don't think that's as good as this team can play; we've still got a lot of development left in us.

Well considering we had the new evil trimuvirate of umpires (Chamberpot, Bozzo the Clown, and McBurney) meaning that St Kilda played with three extra men all day, we did alright.

I loved it when the 50 metre penalty was given against Dawes for dissent that they still couldn't get a goal. Justice was served today, let's just hope for some justice in the courts in the days ahead.
