Yeah, play him next to Davis in the pocket. It would be like taking to the field with 16 players.

Dyso
Actually 15, Corrie requires one more player to mop up his work.

You can only play as good as the opposition let you. We were by far the better side for 3 quarters. Inside 50's 67 to bugger all (Cats had 30-35 max)

Imagine if we had 22 fit men.
Imagine if we didn't have 5 posters.
Imagine if we didn't miss some sitters.

Brilliant effort. The Catters clawed their way back then they looked like they were gonna run all over us. We fought tooth and nail and we're to be denied.

Wellingham was my BOG.

I thought that Macaffer played his best game as well tonight... this will keep his knockers quiet for a week or two.

He is what is keeping Medders out and deservedly so.

I was just wrapped in the last goal ( i think it was the last), Sidey and Beams working together to outsmart Geelong and goal... I could see Hine smiling as they celebrated.

How far we have come with development keeps impressing me

Actually we hit the post 6 times and played one man down for the entire game bar 10 minutes.
What to do with Leon? Play him when we are playing the doggies, but not when we play the Saints or cats. He has Harbrow's number but besides that struggles in big games still.

Tyson Goldsack - He's a beauty this kid.
Wellingham & Daisy very hard at the footy. Proud of both of you.

Yep, Caff was great. Did stuff that Medders didn't do even back in '08. Had 13 contested posessions - most on the ground. Could play both in the same team, but I reckon there's no chance of Medhurst replacing Macaffer now. As I said before the game, if he was a better set shot, Caff would be an absolute beauty.

Will add a couple of other points:

Maxwell did a very good job on Mooney after Reid went down. Did not have a goal kicked on him.

Didak had 12 contested possessions. Just thought I'd mention that, for those who think he's a soft outside player who does not win his own ball. Was the best player on the ground tonight, and the competition was pretty hot.

We won clearances 45-29. Against the best clearance team in the comp.

and that Dip stick - Anthony Hudson says "maybe its a good year not to be calling the grand final" - I know he is a geelong supporter but that comment just shows his bias, and lack of maturity.

One of those 6 posters (McCaffer's from the pocket) was touched by the man on the mark so it was already adjudged a point.

What shitted me about Huddo was his comments on Wellingham touching the umpire. The ump wasn't offended, or threatened, so why bring it up. Cockhead.
