^ Don't doubt maturity or discipline. IF your flat and tired and a bit knocked up from the physical demands from the week before, mental application will only do so much.

I loved the anzac game, my best friend is bombers supporter so its one of the day of the year we both love... he challanged me to a drinking game of who ever kicks a goal the other person had to drink a full beer... i was very dry by halftime having just 1-2 beers if i remember while he was pretty messy drinking about 9 beers :)

hopefully it can be a repeat this weekend so i can laugh at him again :)

Not sure why but I just can't get excited about this game. There's no sense of anticipation you get when you feel there's something to prove, Nothing! Had a similar feeling before the blews game, their supporters are pretty much resigned to a defeat, you have to try convincing them that they're some sort of chance just to make things interesting.

Looks like Essendon will rest Fletcher this week.

But there was bad news on the injury front for the Dons, with veteran backman Dustin Fletcher believed to be struggling with a hamstring problem. Speculation was rife last night that Fletcher would miss the clash against Collingwood on Friday night and be put on ice for the rest of the season.

927 this morning they said the Bombers were playing 2 debutants.

When I heard this I thought, we will probably do this in a canter. We'd have to be right off our game to lose this one.

Rest Jolly, Ball, and who ever needs a rest. Bring in Josh for his 200th and Medders for their opportunity. They should be hungry and perform to a very high level if they want to keep their spots.

@Essendon_FC: Jake Carlisle + Stewart Crameri will make their AFL
debuts tomorrow night against Pies.

@AFL Early selection news: Fletcher, Winderlich and Davey all ruled out for the Bombers http://afl.to/9R1gJY #aflbomberspies
Let all your troubles be forgot for we are Collingwood. We'll fight it out until the end we're Collingwood. So help me Jock.
