What a great win by Australia! It wasn't a bad total by Zimbabwe but Australia just took their time, didn't panic and proved why they are the greatest team in the world! Damn I love watching the cricket! Everyone batted well also and I will mention that Damien Martyn played extremely well! He batted in style and proved why he should always be in the Australian team! What do you have to say about that JLC? Oh let me guess you will pick on the run out that he messed up won't you! He did make a mess of the run out but definately made up for it so I suggest you LEAVE HIM ALONE NOW AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO PICK ON! Go Australia you guys rock, I can't wait to watch the next game!

Great win by Kenya, just finished watching a replay, their wicket celebratins were great. Poor effort by Jayasuriya (sp?) at presentation ceremony, did not congratulate Kenya, just claimed his lot played 'like amateurs'. Serves yourself right for winning the toss, and putting Kenya in expecting to see them roll over like Canada!

Watched most of the zim innings last night....

Andy Blignaut's innings was a beauty...although the aussies won easily...this match was probably there biggest test to date....

Well done to Kenya....I loved the reactions after the wickets started to tumble.....Great for the game!!!

All this fuss, just because i said Zimbabwe have exploded with their batting towards the end of their innings.

In years to come i also think that many players averages and strike rates including Tendulkars may be inflated due to playing the minnow countries compared to the earlier years when not as many of the minnow countries were in the World Cup. A more accurate or meaningful reflection may be looking at a players average and strike rate against each country seperately.

One section for the lager cricketing nations. With a second divison with the smaller cricketing nations!

I tend to agree Bart - I was thinking the same thing last night. The World Cup is pretty uneven at the moment - it'll only start getting interesting come finals time.

Its a bit like the FA Cup where they allow all the small teams from lower divisions to compete. You hope that the cream rises to the top and that the good teams as in the well credentialled countries survive. Its always good to have the occassional upset but you dont two quality teams to reach the final.

JLC what are you going on about people's roles in here are to MODERATE and not DICTATE? I am no moderator in here and I was the one who said we should all be going for Australia. I have never read Donny or Kristen say that you should go for Australia so I have no idea what you are talking about! I just can't understand why you wouldn't go for Australia especially since we live in this wonderful country and if it's just because Steve Waugh isn't in the side that's even more stupid! Slats isn't in the side and I still go for Australia I just hate the selectors and his replacement Langer! I don't even hate Langer I just don't want him to play well! GO AUSTRALIA!
