Geelong have re-written retirement age. If you’re good enough, age plays less than ever. Loss of physical attributes is offset by experience.

He could play for 3 more seasons if he wants to.

Still class. Hopefully a couple left in him, and by a couple, I mean flags.

No idea, north of Melbourne and south of Shep. As long as we don’t get the flood tactic on game day!

Isn't it some sort of gated community set up with several houses all on a few acre blocks and shared communal facilities?

Yeah it’s south of Shep and he has farm managers to do all the work while he chills by the fireplace. His relatives are in Shep town proper and likely affected but I’m sure they’re all looked after. I haven’t been back to Shep since Flanagan’s kicked me out for falling asleep.

He recently bought a house on a farm halfway to Shepparton. He figures it’s the best of both worlds. There are 30 houses on one-acre blocks on the 500-acre farm. They all pay a farm manager to do the actual farming but get to rumble around a property that stocks deer, camels, pigs, ducks, sheep and cows. It also has a pool, tennis court and a lodge.

Yeah, half way to Shep would be south of Shep, more likely somewhere between Nagambie and Seymour

If needed he has xtra time available as he plus Pendles and Howe have the option (to help preserve their bodies) for the rigors of season due their age

All three have been told they can start preseason in January
