There is plenty of experience in training to know how to stop him, and which player to put on him.

What irks me, is his hands on hips and getting told where to run. If the prick was tanking in real games, I'd love to see him on the turf.

I get the angst, I’m upset to see him gone.

But in all seriousness he’s a kid who just turned 20. To me he is just a kid who likely has little idea about a lot of things in life.

He’s got a lot of learning in front of him.

Because he played for us there’ll be some connection and thought about the rest of his career. I don’t wish him ill will, except when he plays us.

Ollie deserves praise for coming out of the closet as the AFL’s first openly weak footballer. He’s a trailblazer in that regard.

Henry is a kid who wanted to go home and play with his brother; end of story.
A certain A Rocca wanted the same. Yes one was in Sidanee but that’s what it boils down to. We just couldn’t get a direct deal done with Geelong. However his departure allowed Collingwood to get Mitchell for bugger all.

I fear he may develop into a gun & I'm sure I'll feel a sense of sadness & anger everytime I watch him.

Geelong have recruited brilliantly & will draft well too, they'll be a force for many years.

Time to focus on success & make Olie & Geelong watch.

Yeah Ollie’s a kid living his dream but I don’t think it would have happened if Geelong weren’t sly dogs making deals behind Collingwood’s back while telling them to their faces that they weren’t talking to him. Eff Geelong. At least the club, Pebbles were up front and honest withSydney, and Pebbles didn’t just stand around with hands on hips in his final year at Sydney. Remember how Nick Davis played us with his “injury” too.

Also, when you're feeling a bit down, think how much Geelong traded away to get Henry:

- 38, 48 and 55 in this year’s draft
- Plus future second and future fourth
- Plus pick 25 (which they got for all the above)
- Plus Cooper Stephens, a decent midfield prospect that they did not want to lose.

That's an expensive family reunion.

I'm fine with players wanting to go to certain clubs, life is more than just sport. But I think he lost the fans with his ultimatums... when he could have just said to Geelong, deal fairly with the Pies and it can be a win-win for all.

I ventured over to Big Footy's (don't judge me) Geelong page. Found it interesting that most people doing their best 22 team for 2023 didn't even list him.

Which probably explains why Geelong supporters didn't think they should give up much for him. But I believe the football department thought different.

Wait and see on that one. Personally, I think he is going to be a star.

Personally I don't care whether or not he's going to be a star.

It was the manner of his leaving, not the leaving itself that has pi*5ed off most people. There are right and wrong ways to go about things, and AFL footy is a pretty small industry. Already word has leaked out from some of the current playing list that he has burned many many bridges.

Oliver Henry will be despised by Collingwood people both inside and outside the Club until the day he retires. And that's not a nice place for him to be.

You thought the tackle on Ed Langdon was vigorous? Stay tuned.

Spot on - I remind every cat supporter when we have a "back and forth" on twitter that Henry has pushed Cooper out - Cooper was very well liked among the playing group. I wonder how his mates feel about Henry pushing him out.
