Dawes kicked 5 in a losing side. Great news for the club and Swoop42 that he wants his spot back.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Yes Dawes played well... really good to see
Lets hope he can keep this up and perform the same in the seniors.
He is bound to have put pressure on now for a return and maybe being dropped has hit home on his shortcomings
Go Pies

We
All I have to say is we need to beat this mob by 12 goals or more given Geelong's effort againgst that useless Essendon side tonite. I fear we will be chasing this Cats mob all year.
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

Excuse me.rocketronnie wrote:Dawes has a fair way to go before his form matches Leroy's effort against the Dogs last week. If Leroy holds his form and I hope he does, he'll be in the first 22 for a while yet.
Geez people must be so accustomed to Leroy giving very little if they think his performance against the dogs was anything special.
He was barely if any better than Dawes was the previous week against Brisbane but unlike Dawes had 3 big advantages.
1.He was playing in Melbourne.
2.He was playing in perfect conditions under the Etihad roof.
3.He had the distinct benefit of playing in a winning side, one that was 5 goals up half way through the second term.
He had an improved second half but overall he was just serviceable.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

I'm with you swoop. If any one should be feel the pressure it should be Cloke! 1 goal in the last three games isn't what return you would expect from your key forward. He needs to start getting the score board ticking over and and I don't mean the behinds score board!
Never disperse your focus unless absolutely necessary. Face one adversary at a time!
BARRACK HARD!
BARRACK HARD!
^Agree.
No doubt the effort is there and he's been getting his hands on the ball but he's hardly had a shot on goal the last 3 weeks.
As our No.1 go to man up forward needs to start producing more 2-3 goal games on a regular basis instead of the usual 0-2.
Considering the amount of opportunity and faith he receives each year from Mick surely that's not to much to ask.
Is due to kick a bag against the dees but if he fails to fire perhaps it's time he has an extended "rest" and made to earn his recall for once.
Might be the making of him.

agree with jack Spain.
Would love to have seen Buckley get a run against his old mob.
Presti/Lockyer/O'Bree gone at year's end
Its time to find the next generation to give the club great service that these warriors have done for a decade or so.
Pies by plenty tomorrow- no Jones McDonald or Sylvia- we SHOULD be too strong....
