solid looking team (thanks to Swoop?)

At the start of the year we were really hoping that Reid and Dawes would step up so it's really good to see them continually picked especially Reid (last 8 games in a row), which indicates they are getting better

Just hoping the Medhurst can have some luck with his injury or whatever the heck is going with him....really need him for the finals

Good team. Very happy to see Goldsack get a chance, and the rest of the changes are all good. Obviously would love to see Maxwell out there, but otherwise we look a far stronger side.

And, well done Swoop. More than just a pretty face! :P

it seemed we rushed back medders for the bulldogs match and now he is paying for it.. need to get him 110% fit for the finals and back into that AA form..

So are you saying that our captain does not belong in the best 22?
No.
So are you saying, no: Maxwell does not belong in our best side, or no: you weren't saying that?
No. Yes.

Lets be honest, Yes the team looks strong only because Didak, Ball, Johnson and to an extent Dawes are back in. Simular to the team 3 games back.

But our best 22 has Maxwell and Medhurst (Hopefuly inform) in it, our best 22 also has some form of back up ruckman over 200cm tall, However due to the crap our 10 year hero has dished out we have to use Liegh Brown as second ruck. Leigh Brown is a goer but for us to be a threat this year we need one of the others, Leigh Brown might be able to fill CHB or CHF, but second Ruck he will only be just. Unfortunatly Tony Shaw is right, we will not win a premiership unless our ruckstocks start shaping up. Jolly has been servicable but he has no support at all. I have a feeling we will be demolished in this department tomorrow night.

We will win anyway.

I reckon the wet suits them more than us! Good stoppage team and plenty of tough nuts.

Hopefully Dawes boots five, Cloke three, dids, dick, ball, pendles all chip in and we win by a comfortable 28 points. We better.!

I'd really like to see Goldy take Goodes , a great match-up for us , challenge the kid to beat him , a chance to cement his spot in the side , will match him for pace and on the ground , only doubt is in the air but still give him the chance as he will be hungry for the challenge.

Goldsack will be gallant on Goodes but we cannot hope to hold him 4 a full game.

Eventually Wood, Maxwell and medders will come into the best 22

Next week may be the last hurrah for Rogan- a great trier for the Pies over the years who has had to do it alone for too long.

Pies by 37 points- too much at stake to not put in a big effort tomorrow nite
