Yep. They're a timid troupe, the teapot trained twits, in two thousand and ten.Usurper wrote:One thing about St Kilda's game plan.. and how we can save ourselves a lot of work moving it into attack..
Get the ball, turn it over to them in the middle. They will then proceed to do a couple of nice long kicks BACKWARD, saving us an inside 50 entry, while we can man up and lock them in, pressure them, and have a shot at goal. They put themselves into their own cage; their lyon cage.

good to see the big fella is getting the praise he fully deserved!!favourites 2008 wrote:Darren Jolly wow!
Some of his tap works were perfectly placed for our midfielders, it was awesome to watch.
So glad Jolly is running into red hot form in the business end of the season. that could only do us good come finals.
Fantastic win for the boys today. This will bring so much confidence for the team. They have always believed that they can match the big boys, but now they can truly say the CAN, and they have!
Bring on Geelong I say!

Is it just me or is Jolly not an ump favorite?
Last week and again today, in marking comps especially, it seems that he can be taken out unfairly by the 3rd man up. Also his arms are being chopped and taken out of the contest on numerous occasions. If he was a key forward for any opposition sides, he would be lining up for half a dozen free shots at goal every week!
Just my opinion.

Not to mention the ass-rape he gets when he plays forward and the ball is still in flight getting to him! I say to myself its gotta be a joke how the umps treat Jolly but the stats don't lie.
Never disperse your focus unless absolutely necessary. Face one adversary at a time!

What a fantastic win!!
We did not have one passenger on the day. Our pressure was intense from start to finish & they couldn't handle it.
What a great game by Brown!! Doesn't look good for Josh now. Great position to be in though, Medders, Josh & O'Bree cant get a game and Maxy, Trav & Dick were unavailable. Going to be some interesting selections for the rest of the season.
Also thought Reid had another great game. Is he a chance for the Rising Star?
Anyway, it doesn't get much better than that, and the Collingwood I saw yesterday wont be dropping a game to the likes of Richmond or Carlton, and especially Essendon.
