Bulldogs cant maintain that intensity, smart by the Pies to take the worst of it then run away with it, some people threw in the towel a bit early...

He's gotten more of it up there tonight than the King of the forward line, Cloke.

I cant understand all the sinclair knockers.
Fassolo has been struggling lately. Fas is a player but he is not taking marks and turning it over.
Also, why people here flog dawes when he has 2 blokes hanging off him and they kick it to him ???
cant believe the missed/half arsed tackles after last week.

Good effort last few minutes there

Swan coming into the game which is needed.

Pendles excellent again but were now seeing the absence of Ball really effect us. Pendles can't get into space and be creative because he has to do his work more in and under.

Reid looking OK as a lead-up forward but not a contested grab like Cloke.

Cloke needs to start clunking them

Wellers ordinary

Thank god for Beams. He is our only mid that is remotely interested in winning the hard ball tonight. The first 3 rounds I found myself so frustrated at watching the opposition play kick to kick while we zone off. After the Port game & Bombers game I thought it was behind us. It's back tonight.
We started playing contested footy for 10 minutes & ended up back in front.
One more thing. They are setting up numbers for our kick down the line knowing we will kick it there. Even when the odds are 4-2 against we are still kicking it there. We need to switch the play more & stop being so predictable.

gonna be hard for him to take a contested mark when he dropped and uncontested chest mark. He needs to settle down. He has been shafted by the umps but he cant let it get to him

Has got to plenty of contests and is now starting to look more dangerous. A different skillset is required playing forward than back, it's not easy to star from the get go after being switched. I don't think it's something we'll persist with. More of a special case tonight because the Dogs have no tall forwards. But Reid has shown enough to suggest he'd provide some value. Either he or Tarrant probably will go forward. I'd thought Tarrant was more likely, but Reid's probably fitter and better suited.
Well done boys!
