you may be right, but i think we have Darcy Moore pencilled in for next year, and as you say, we have Cloke, White and Lynch with reid and Goldsack handy if they go forward. Not sure if Keefe will ever have the feel for the game required to play forward. he may have started playing too late to ever know where to go to get the ball.

Also, i hope to hell that we aren't going to use our number 10 pick with a view to who is going to play CHF in the magoos!!!!!!

Note: I did say KPF in development. And McCarthy will need a couple of development years, he's not ready made like Boyd.

I reckon Freeman is the Exact Player we need. He has the Pace and Explosiveness that we are Missing

A lot of the top fancies didn't make the top ten in anything. I see Jake Kelly came top ten in two of the running categories.

That's because the draft gurus have worked out that beep tests and shuttle runs don't win you the ball. Recruiting managers use those things to seperate players towards the bottom of the draft, but at the top end there are many more obvious football-type factors.

Kings of the beep test over the years have included Brayden Norris, Ricky Dyson, Sam Iles and Hayden Hector.

My concern is he is not too composed with the ball. Won't assist our already poor ball usage into the foward fifty. Every write up sounds amazing this time of year.

Get players who can kick the ball straight. Salem and Lennon sound like accurate kickers and can change a game. Football brain is imperative.

I've been saying Lennon at pick 6 and Bontempelli at pick 10 since day 1.
If Bon is not there at 10 then surely Salem or KK then Freeman. Make no mistake we will have 2 very promising mid/forwards coming our way. i forgot Dom Sheed or even Billings at 6 would be fantastic. I really wish we had another top 20 pick, someone like Hartung or Taylor just to really set things up for next years draft. Exiting times ahead folks.

Other way around I reckon. Bontempelli 6 and Leonnon 10. Why do I reckon? I don't know why I reckon that, I just reckon.

Hine & Rendell will nab 2 great kids with big futures. They certainly don't need my advice.

For mine it's Scharenberg at 6 and whoever is available out of Bontempelli/Lennon/Salem/Freeman at 10 (in that order)

I would love to see Garlett with the Pies.
I reckon he worth the crack.
He'll we've had other early picks that have turned out to be absolute shockers.
This kid can play.

Garlett isn't worth contemplating. Hawks, North or Bombers will pick him up in second or third round (Hawks may even pull the trigger with their first rounder).
Too many question marks over his head to be taken in the top 10.
