He was incredibly complimentary of Callum Brown's game tonight. He noticed his very very clesan hands in congestion and his hard at the ball style (that is reminiscent of his dad). I rate that.

Think the kids should see some more game time and think he has a good shot at establishing himself in our team.
Not before me.

As for Brown, see my comment above. The main problem with our midfield is that the "in and under players" (other than Pendlesthegreat) do not have clean hands and don't always make good decisions in the traffic. This lad does. He doesn't have his father's freakish physical talents (I don't think he's going to kick five goals at FF in a second semi-final or play FB because he's the only guy in the team with enough talent to run with Buddy) but he can certainly play centre in a premiership team.

Will probably take more than two years but I agree with the premise. JT is a similar player: small, quickish, clean hands and moves well in traffic.
kill for collingwood!

He is a gun - his decision making is that far ahead of some of the other players in the team, he occasionally makes mistakes as where he is expecting his team mate to be smart enough to run to doesn't happen. I rate his football smarts up there with Pendles and Sidebottom.

The first half of his old man's career was brlliant.
His second wasn't because his body was wrecked from his tenacity and playing at CHF.
Lets hope Cal isn't so brave.

I've been saying the same thing since I first watched him in training but it will take a bit of time before we see him at his best due to his losing 6 months of his career to grandular fever.
