Hatred is taught I think!!
Was at a GCSun game at Metrocon about five years after they entered AFL
At the food concession area two boys about 12 heard them say “Gee I hate Collingwood “
They be about 5 or 6 when they started following AFL, so they were taught by adults or media

Too true. You can add Norf and their 2 rigged flags of the 70s.

The Carlton list is at a stage where finals should be anticipated.
They had some high end building blocks already in place (McKay, Cripps, Weitering, Walsh) and with the recent additions of Cerra, Hewett, Williams, Saad and Martin have built depth through the middle of the ground and gained the extra run required.
If the likes of Docherty and Curnow can stay healthy also and players like Kennedy and McGovern have improved then the wins like we've witnessed the last two weeks will become the norm.
Unfortunately I suspect the good times of Carlton being a complete rabble are finally and sadly coming to an end.
Our best hope now is that Voss is indeed a complete numpty of a coach.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

Why waste our energy on ANY other team.
You're just giving them oxygen.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Thank you so much for this. One of the best games ever! I went with my mum and at the 25 minute mark I’d the last quarter she suggested leaving early. The only time ever I told her to f#$k off!

The Blues are back. There's no doubt about it. I think there are two main reasons:
1. Finishing near the bottom of the ladder helped to accumulate high draft picks.
2. Somehow, and I don't know how, they became a destination club. The got McGovern, Saad, Williams and Cerra.

They've been rubbish for 20 odd years and it's been nice to see. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they finished top 4 this year. But we need to focus on our team. We had a shocking year last year but Collingwood is a much stronger CLUB than is Carlton. We won't stay down for long.

It's March. Hawthorn - who are terrible - are on top of the ladder. Let's just see how it all plays out.

^Check out the game against St Kilda at Moorabbin when Carman kicked 11 goals in his white boots. One of the top 5 favourite games I have attended.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

That is my favourite game I have attended also. Back then the seats at the G were wooden we were jumping on them when Starcevich went ballistic in last quarter and the crowd noise was almost as loud as the day mcguane kicked goal of the year
