The zone defence worked really well.
Sliced and diced all night long and beliefs in the "messiah" is not going to cut it Piss off Bux.
You are not part of the future.
Gee and Cameron was a real upgrade on Cox....NOT!!!!!
Midfield thrashed again.
Grundy pretty poor in the second half.
Slow slow slow........ ball movement again and again and again!!!!!!!
FFS Bux fu...k off
Respect your right to express your view on Bucks. I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.......and disrespectful to a genuine champion and loyal Collingwood person.

Well that completely sabotages Moore's chances of being All Australian. His only chance (and an excellent one) was AA CHB.

He was AA last year all to no avail for the team.

Thanks FoxSports - good, sensible, non knee-jerk reaction article (part thereof)

"Yes, when the heat comes on a club it inevitably centres on the senior coach, but there isn’t much Nathan Buckley did wrong on Friday night in a bid to kickstart his side’s season.

Rather than sitting idly and hoping for a change, Buckley and the coaching staff made concrete changes and backed their personnel in to thrive under the new directives.

The two key changes saw Darcy Moore swung forward and Brodie Grundy reinvigorated as an attacking ruckman with scoreboard impact he rarely managed even at his All-Australian best.

Both moves saw the Pies look as potent as they have for some time up forward - then Jordan De Goey and Jeremy Howe went down and the Pies started to get pummelled at the source.

In the words of Nick Riewoldt on the Fox Footy panel at halftime, the coaches “showed some imagination, they threw the magnets around and came up with a different mix”.

“That was the question coming into the game, could they continue to keep doing what they were doing with the same personnel in the same oppositions ... early in the contest they were getting great reward for it,” Riewoldt said.

WE did well early on, going really well, but for me, the whole game changed when both Howe and De Goey went down, down on two key players, down on rotations. From then on, i knew wed struggle, as we did. Throw on Tay and Elliott, and the old injury curse has reared its head yet again, as it always does every damn season. I thought our kids showed promise. Just play our kids and get games into them, ride the season out, its all we can logically do now.

No, it didn't. West Coast was already coming over the top of us when those two got injured. Let's not make excuses.

They were missing about 5 of their best 22, including most of their midfield.

He will get a medal, meanwhile de Goey will be suspended for using his phone to tell the missus he’s alive!

Yes and no I still think if they had played on then the midfielders would have got better passes to Moore, and as much as I’m not crushed by our efforts considering the loss of Gogo and Howe, I still think the writing is on the wall, change us needed at the top

Rubbish, we lost two of our best players, and then went down on rotations, they came back a bit, but that knocked the shit out of us. We also had both Tay and Elliott out too, dont forget that. I want to see those ageing Eagles minus Kennedy, Darling, Gaff, Shuey, Natinnu, Hurn in a couple of yrs, lets see them then hey. :o

Good old Collingwood forever...

Imagine what Sidebottom or Dangerfield would get if they did what Kelly did.
