A quick 50 from Ricardo Powell in 31 balls with 4 sixes swelled the Windies total to 9/244. Hooper made 45 and Islam took 3/62.
It will be interesting to see how the Bangladeshi's bat. Is there an upset in the wind(ies)?

Or in a rain effected match!
Rain stopped play after 8.1 overs with Bangladesh on 2/32. An upset is even more a possibility now. The Windies must be a bit worried.
It will be a draw and shared points or if they get back on the field, Bangladesh only have to score 64 in 101 balls and not lose a wicket to be ahead at the 25 over mark under the Duckworth/Lewis formula.

The lessened to be learned here is that when playing the minnow countries send them into bat and dismiss them for 150 runs and get the runs quickly. Why waste 50 overs batting first ??

A WC match all over in 23.1 overs? The second teams bats for 4.3 overs to win the game? Yes, it did happen, folks!
Canada were dismissed for 36 in 18.4 overs. Vaas took 3/15 from 7 overs, Nissanka took 4/12 from 7, Murali bowled 2.4 overs for 1/3 and Fernando took 2/4 from his 2.
Jayasuriya lost his wicket for 9 but Atapattu hit 24 from 14 balls to seal the win in 4.3 overs.
