I like this simple approach but reckon the Suns might want more points than just 37.

I’m keeping McInnes to continue his late vfl intercept defender role but happy for Macrae to trade if it gives him a chance

Twomey has him at #12 in his rankings.

Yeah, I watched some highlight package and thought wow. This was him playing a defensive flank / intercepting role. Really nice reading of the play and a great kick for picking the right option (when he had time). Then I watched another video of him playing on-ball and I just found him too scrappy and panicky with his disposal. In the end the only reason I'd want to spend a top draft pick on him would be because he's apparently got a great work ethic and captaincy qualities, not because I think he'll make it as a midfield gun.

So the defensive flank option might work for him if he uses the ball well. Possibly replace Noble?

On the small amount I have seen which was in a state league grand final he's not worth pick 12. Based on what SLORT had seen he's definitely worth picking up if possible.

Also, based on SLORT's analysis he is likely to be better than Noble. I agree.

You are assuming Mcguane will be a target next year he might do an ACL thus lowering his value or he gets run over by the proverbial bus
We can always trade it next year for points
Happy to trade it for a KPF not for a questionable mid

The total player payments will jump from $15.79m in 2024, rising to $17.76m in 2025, $18.29m in 2026 and $18.44m in 2027.
Just off the top my head that is a 16.8% increase.

So without have scaling Perryman's salary as the cap increases... if we pay him $850k that is the equivalent of approximately $700K.
