When my back goes out pruning the roses.
I can carry couches up 2 flights of stairs, spread 3 cubic metres of crushed rock in 4 hours with a shovel, do weights and exercise, no worries. Lean forward to do some pruning and suddenly feel like someone's stabbed me in the kidneys. Can sit or stand, but the transition between the two is shitfully and painfully slow.
I'm off the feed the dogs now, hope they don't mistake me for quasimodo.

It's so friggen annoying because I can't see her & have to wait 'till tomorrow & I don't know if she'll still be shitty at me....

Haha sounds like one of my mates.. She is so moody, and all of last week she barely said a word to me and Kylie. We just left it alone, coz that's her thing..Magpie Girl wrote:Grrr.... Saturday afternoon, I get a message saying "What time are we going out tonight?" So, I assumed she was over it, and we spent the whole night together, as happy as can be!
It's so strange!! I don't get moody people lol
Love always, Alyssa xoxo

Ok, back from the physio. Lower back seriously spasming. Not allowed to sit down, have to either stand or lie down. Just waiting for the neurofen to kick in so I won'y need the walkig stick to hold me up.
And no, I'm not sitting at the computer, I've put the mouse and keyboard on the ironing board so I can read and post standing up. Got nothing else to do.

That's how they quite often go, stui. When you go to lift something heavy you naturally tense up your muscles to prepare for the lift. When doing something relatively simple, it's natural to not think about it, resulting in inactive muscle to support our back structure. Or something like that

A wonderful wonderful human being and dear friend so full of life now lying in coma in a German hospital weeks after suffering an AMI, with little hope of recovery - we are absolutely gutted!!!
Be good to each other, cherish your friends and family, worry not about insignificant crap and concentrate on the positives - life is too short
For our dear friend Dieter Stappert
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind always be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of His Hand
