Yes and day 1 in NSW. Thank goodness so far Berejiklian hasn’t exported the virus from NSW (so far) like their sloppy government did earlier this year.Pies4shaw wrote:In Victoria, now 18 days in a row of no new community cases, still just 2 active cases and no-one in hospital with COVID.

He's lucky Danny boy is on leave otherwise he wouldn't have even been let back into the state
Btw have these wastewater results ever actually resulted in cases suddenly coming forward? Seems they're always bringing up all these positive results yet nothing comes of it.
So it seems Covid is either spreading throughout Melbourne or their testing is shit.

Everything about their Covid response has been shit. Poor luvvy (WPT) is a fact free zone when it comes to defending Lockdown Dan and the Creeping Assumptions.
I still expect them to either fvck up or find another excuse to lockdown and/or close borders for Easter.
They buggered up Mothers Day and Fathers Day, reluctantly allowed small gatherings for Christmas day then slammed the border to NSW shut on New Years Eve messing with umpteen thousands of people for no reason. I just can't see them allowing a normal Easter.

Taking proportionate methods to arrest and restrict the spread of the Sidanee virus was always the right thing to do. You can thank the policies of the Victorian Government that you and your family (and me and my family) didn’t catch the Sidanee spread of Berejiklian’s bugger up.stui magpie wrote:Everything about their Covid response has been shit. What he means to say is "Not one single person forced home from virus free regional NSW was infected" Meanwhile the Victorian Government still has no clue who was patient zero...
But it was funny that they slammed the borders shut on people who were closer to the virus spreading through Melbourne than any Sydney cases and made them come back to virus riddled Melbourne

You really need to report these delusions and get checked.
History will show which Australian State utterly and repeatedly botched their Covid response.
Hint, it's the state responsible for 90% of the Covid deaths in Australia

Yes, no one is coming to Victoria (unless you don’t consider international producers of the Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers ) who as it transpires are going to use Melbourne as their first international location to produce their shows. Join me in congratulating the twice elected Premier of Victoria in gaining international investment in local jobs. Well done Daniel Andrews. International investors from the US need a place that is COVID safe and we know that’s Melbourne Victoria.stui magpie wrote:Interesting I heard on the radio on my morning walk that a couple of big scale TV productions will be moving from Melbourne to Sydney.
1 of them was that Ninja Warrior thing I think, but they were both large, expensive and filmed in front of a large audience.
The production companies and insurers decided not to risk filming here when Dan could decide to lock down the state again at a moments notice, costing them heaps of money and potentially messing their production time frames.
Whether you would watch these shows or not is beside the point, it's a number of jobs and economic benefit that would have been in Melbourne and will now be in Sydney.
It also demonstrates which state business has confidence in. Clue, it's not Victoria.
