Let's compare Nathan Murphy's career "trajectory" vs Jaidyn Stephenson's. There you go, enough said although Meatloaf would adequately describe Stevo's career as "2 out of 3 ain't bad"!!

You are aware aren’t you that Stephenson had glandular fever at the start of the season?

Murphy who?
I know let’s keep has beens, hacks and unknown career injured unreliable x junior cricketers for example rather than football players whom with the right coaching could be the difference week in week out.

Don’t conflate two stories to make an invalid point. Unless, of course you have evidence? Without it, borderline defamatory.
Laugh a little and don’t take the club so seriously
Try an emoticon to demonstrate you’re not serious

My guess is that Stephenson will still be at the club when Buckley isn't.

"It is believed his attitude was regularly addressed during the 2020 season".

Damian Barrett on AFL website.

Heck it would have to be pretty bad wouldn't it? You don't shop guys around with this kind of talent, like we seem to be doing with Stevo, unless something's seriously amiss.

I would have thought it's a coaches job to walk this through with the player, for the sake of team success.

I do question why the "untouchable" team culture ethos is allowed to 'shoot us in the foot' with talented guys that don't fit the mould.

Lunacy unless we are traded with a top 20 player.

It is no secret that the club and his teammates are concerned with his off field behaviour.
Whether that changes and how quickly depends on quite a few things.
The challenge for the club and its leaders is how to improve and develop one of its most exciting talents. Other clubs have succeeded in turning around the behaviours of renegade players (Dusty as an example) but the crucial aspect for it for me is the leadership group and how effective they are.
Yes ultimately it comes down to Stevo but the support and leadership from more mature teammates and officials plays a massive part.

I wonder how many people would take pick 3 from Sydney if it was offered? Or pick 2 from North. I dont think you'd get that in return, but if it was, I think there's a few posters that would make the deal.

I want to get this Logan McDonald kid, but not at the expense of another young player that has the potential to be an absolute star. And there's no other way to get that done. Pick 5 looks off the table with the Suns/Treloar thing falling apart and would LMcD last to pick 5 anyway?

Geez, it seems like we're getting rid of everyone from the 2018 GF team.... We're in a really weird spot. Changes need to happen, but how many? Are we really that far from a flag? And will all of us ever agree in which direction to take and which players to trade out or in?

^if we are met up then there is no reason not to do it. Stevo, Treloar, WHE out, high draft pick to spend on the best KPF and an inside mid I think we’ll take it.
Stevo could still be anything but not what we need.
