And K, there is only1 Eddie!
If he stayed in Vegas for a few months, we might win the premiership. Can more boxing matches be arranged?

Eddie used to go to the boxing at Malvern Town hall and bring along a few disabled blokes and have a few beers at the Angel Tavern before hand. So I would say he has some knowledge.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

TP, were you on QF94 (direct to Tulla) or QF12 (to SYD)??
The media is full of drama!!

e.g. from The Australian: "The lady sitting next to me and I screamed and held hands and just waited. It was terrifying " (passenger Janelle Wilson).

I see --- QF96, scheduled 11.55->8.25, but actually 12:43->9.10...
Eddie was supposedly on QF94, which had the "drama".

I had images of everyone else holding hands screaming, while you just yawned and channel-surfed...

OK, so I may be unemployed and getting old but I'm not quite busted up yet.

Daughter messaged me this morning wanting to borrow my removalists trolly to get her washing machine out of storage. She'd agree to lend it to someone while she's overseas until she gets a new place.

When she got here, we had a quick chat. Trolley would fit in her car, washing machine would fit, but not both. Plus the washer was right at the back of the unit, no way was she getting it out alone.

So I went with her, we cleared a bit of a path way and I channelled my 30's by dead lifting the washing machine straight up our of it's spot to shoulder height and carrying it out. Very impressed with myself.

I've been doing regular walking and weights sessions for the past few weeks, so that obviously helped, but after 9 holes of golf this morning I was already feeling a bit stiff, I think I'm going to be struggling tomorrow.

Boxing, in it's proper form (unlike much of what happens today) is the most pure sporting contest you can get.

2 men, matched by weight, enter a ring and into combat. Equipment doesn't play a part, just the skill, will and conditioning of the individuals.

It's also one of the few places left where a kid with nothing else going for him, can be a world champion and set up their future.
