on the plane ride i watched:
- the greatest game ever played. typical disney story, fairytale ending.. supposedly true story about an amateur winning the US Open golf. but too many parts were exageratted. average movie dont even know why i watched it lol
- caddy shack. believe it or not, my first time ever seeing it. GREAT! i love rodney dangerfield and bill murray already and it was the first time i saw a young chevy chase. very funny movie, all over the place but that doesnt matter

Went and took the kids to see Tooth Fairy - wanted to see something other than animated.
A bit predictable, but there are some pretty funny lines from Billy Crystal and you get to see The Rock without his shirt on. Kids & adults enjoyed it.
One thing though - why do they insist on allocated seating when there are only 12 people in the cinema?

Went with my wife to see "Up in the Air" yesterday - starring George Clooney.
Good film. Good watch. Going to be seeing Bran Nue Day soon. It was a great play / muscial I recall seeing in the '80's I think. memory ain't too good.

Haven't seen that yet but i loved the book, i've read it dozens of times. suprised it has taken this long for a movie version of it to be made.David wrote:Fantastic Mr. Fox - loved it. One of the best kids' films I've seen in a while.

Took my daughter to watch The Princess and the Frog the other day. I'd recommend it, although the Voodoo Priest from New Orleans scared her a bit.
Also seen Nine last week, not my preferred genre but I liked it. Good choreography and excellent use of symbolism. Wasn't previously a big fan, but Penelope Cruz in lingerie is very visually pleasing. Two thumbs up.
