This is it!!!

Post by Bob Sugar »

this is what we've been working towards people. ive ben a tad quite this week but im telling everyone now, this year is ours, we cannot be beaten basicly, well, we may drop one before the finals but when push comes to shove we will prevail, this is a scary thought for the pie haters out there because we''l only get better over the next 2 /3 yrs.

we toyed with the cats last night, i dont care what anyone says, we shouldve won that by 9 goals, party time is coming. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D, i dont really care who we have to play in week one TBH, because IMO, they need to worry about copping us.

relax man, we are feared, its not us anymore bickering on who we have to play in the finals, its other teams bickering about not playing us, we destroyed the saints, we desroyed the cats, we've destroyed the dogs, we destroyed the hawks, we destroyed the dockers, its all over, we win, mark my words, and, this is just the beggining, the promised land is aproaching fast.

Maxy played great tonight. As did Goldsack. I for one hope both can fit into our finals campaign. I don't see why not, Maxy has been able to move forward and pinch the odd goal on occasion.

I'd like to say that I had forgotten how smug and arrogant Geelong supporters have become in the last 4-5 years. Dozens of them surrounding me last night and they just couldn't accept what was happening. Their whining and bleating about little Gary and Chappy never ceases to amaze. Self righteousness just oozes from every pore.

^^ the look of despair and woe on their faces when their little bald headed gold coaster ablett got slammed and crunched in a perfect tackle, was a joy to see. Ablett got a free against him and they could not hack it, their hillbilly faces contorted in rage and bewilderment. LOL LOL

That was magnificent. Didak was right in front of me (right in front of me, I tell you!) when he kicked that pass to Thomas.

Very disappointed that we only won by 22 points, when I had confidently tipped us to win by "26 points in a canter".

Seriously, it was a glorious night, with Leon's poor performance (again) and Chopper's injury, the only downers.

If we can maintain that level of intensity we'll beat all comers easily.

Go Pies.

But Geelong are not worried. It's only a small hiccup. They don't want to be near their peak now. Hawkins has a sore foot. Bartel has a long sleeved jumper covering a sore elbow. Rooke will come back after chronic knee soreness. Scarlett had a sore and bruised shin. Talyor had a sore shoulder. Wokjinski was sorely missed with a sore achilles. Geelong weren't serious and will be try harder in September.

All these players will peak in 7 weeks. No need to play really well now. Lure Collingwood into a false sense of superiority. Then when the time comes, just flick the switch! Geelong can easily double their inside fifties any time they want. 37 can easily become 74.

Contested ball? Huh. That just means they weren't serious. 13 less scoring shots? No big deal. Geelong are much more efficient. Next time there will be different goal umpires too. Collingwood will hit the post 14 times instead of six. Geelong are the champs and it is their God given right to always win. Same as Brisbane in the 2004 Grand Final.
Magpies love pies(Lol)
