I love reading the posts on that forum after a loss. It's always a good form of entertainment. :P

The bride got home mid-last quarter. She takes an interest in StKilda but had tipped Bloosers in tipping comp at work. Noting my joy at the state of play, she asked "I thought you didn't like StKilda."
My reply: "I don't, but I detest Carlton with every fibre of my being. The enemy of my enemy is my friend - even if only for 3 or 4 hour."
It's hard to know what gave me the greatest pleasure last night but I think it might have been the no-show of Jarrad Waite. I saw his father's first game (his first kick was a goal) back in the 60s. He was a sniping mongrel and from what I see on the field, his son is an arrogant but very ordinary pretender. Honestly, there's just so much to hate about Carlton - I even got excited with Tiprat got his goals.
Oh, and let's not forget that poseur - Andrew Walker - trying to take mark of the century every time it gets inside 50. Not a team player, but then who'd want to be part of that team?

For the first and only time I was cheering for the Tiprat and the Mutant Alpaca. That was a fun game to watch - especially the looks on the faces of the Filth supporters when their team blew chance after chance to get back into the game.

I've said it a million times - give me Swan over Judd any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Judd's a great player, but he's the ultimate downhill skier in a team full of them - if things are going well, he's dominant, but when they aren't, he's nowhere near as effective. Last night was yet another example.
I, for one, welcome our new black and white overlords

^ AND I would rate Pendles and Daisy a country mile over Murphy and Gibbs. ! Gibbs is just so overrated, the utimate receiver, no hard ball for him, gutless turd like his Scum buddies. !

Another thing from last night was that Carlscum absolutely smashed them in the hitouts yet that star midfield couldn't get their hands on the ball at the stoppage.

Really the Saints didn't do anything spectacular they just closed the space down and tackled hard and the scum outside mids had no answer under pressure.

Carlscum this is a tonic for the pointy end of the season. Last night doesn't even rate anywhere near the same magnitude of the pressure cooker of a prelim final and if the bloozers get there they will get a flogging they will never forget.

You can put a line through this mob come deep in September.

And Bryce Gibbs having a go at Milne. Not exactly WWE or TV ringside stuff.

I am surprised he plays at night with all those shadows to jump at. If you make the Tiprat look tough you must be as soft as butter.

Too many down hill skiers as other have said, how many times did Murphy, Gibbs, Garlett and Betts, chose to stay off the contest rather than committ their bodies.

A couple of lock down jobs on Simpson and Murphy and the CARL were gone.
Have to agree with the post above from the talkingcarlton site, Ratten is a very average coach - It remains to be seen whether he has intellectual ability to counter a highly tactical coach.

There are some very defamatory comments to Smurfs here. Hahahahaha.

You reckon people have now worked Carl out, or what. So their draw was Tigs, Lions, Collingwood severley depleted 2 men on the bench, Ess (lost), Dockers, Giants, Saints - ffs premiership favourites
