Have to agree, Flashman. And it wasn't just this year. We have been less than tough for a few years now. Quite a few times, when there was a scuffle, I watched one of our players being shoved around by two or more opposition players. Similarly, when one of ours copped a mongrel hit, there was rarely a team mate letting the hitter know that he would pay for it.

I can't wait to have Marley Williams playing as a midfielder alongside Adams. We might have to label them crash and bash.

Fits a need and should do well

Main strength is his inside / clearance work and with Luke Ball turning 30 he would seem the heir apparent.

Josh Thomas and Blair will be fighting for the same slot as Adams this season.

I say Blair is more a outside player.

Josh Thomas is the same type as Adams

happened to catch the last five minutes of our GWS match this year, which was replayed on foxtel last week, so i thought i would look out for Taylor, cause i have never had reason to notice him before.

The first thing he did was chase the ball hard out of his attack, eventually going after three players as we handballed out. Given the match was already over, this was really impressive in commitment.

The next thing was he sharked the ball front on from a pack and scooted towards goal the same way Dane Swan 'scoots'. Stocky guys, but have deceptive speed.

i think he will prove to be a real good get.

Blair is way more an inside player Dave. Hence why he would be very high up if not leader in tackles - 1%'s etc.

^^^ Would have to agree that Blair is an inside player. Did the grunt work in and under the packs while Luke Ball was out. Doesn't have the disposal skill, height, or the pace to be an efficient outside player.

while recruit Taylor Adams is eating up the work, enjoying the combative elements of training

Liked the way he reacted after being caught with the ball in the centre to dig in and follow up a 2nd effort to win the ball back and get it cleared... tough nugget this bloke.
