Damn, it would have been great to see the cocky Hawthorn knocked off by this exciting young team. Ah well, the season goes to script.

Two best teams make the Grand Final. Bit dull really when it's not your own there. Good luck to them both I guess, don't really care either way.

Port kicked themselves out of it

Umps won it for the Hawks

Went to the game - great finish as we all know.
Geez those Port fans can make some noise, by what they showed today the Adelaide Oval must be deafening.
Also I liked the fact both sides had huge cheer squads -loads of flags, banners & floggers. Let's hope we sort our issues on the bottom deck of the Ponny & do likewise.
And let's make sure we are playing this time next year!!

Port have the best cheersquad in the league by a country mile. It was amazing how loud they were in last year's elimination final against us as opposed to us even though we were the home team and had more supporters inside the ground than they did.

They would be very proud of their efforts despite falling short in the end. Port's 'never say die' attitude is something that needs to be ingrained into Collingwood from now on so I hope Nathan Buckley was watching today's match intently and trying to see whether he can implement any new ideas from what he saw in today's match into our side from next year and beyond. Overall, I wouldn't be surprised if Port won a flag within the next three years or so.

The best two sides of the year are now in the Grand Final so I think we have the ultimate contest on our hands even if I dislike both sides for different reasons.

I turned up today after seeing hundreds of scarfs, one side power and the other side magpies
as they were hanging down the midriffs of a great variety of god's creatures
great and not so small...

and so it transpired
with the rough one proving the difference
to go gift a win for another sewage coloured win

I came away with more affinity for my crow eater cousins
but suck your bathwater black white entrails as you negotiate your way home after being shown the door

stop the parasite magpie shit please

I think you may need to get a breathalyser lock for your keyboard?

You've got to give credit where credit is due and Roughead was awesome for the hawks in the prelim final.

He's always been a very good player but over the last couple of seasons he's gone to a whole other level and is one of the best players in the game now not just one of the best forwards.

So versatile for a big man.
