I am so ashamed to follow this corrupt sport, unbelievable, I didn’t think we could sink so low but I was wrong.

imagine if we cop a suspension during finals and fail to get off, I would actually tell the team not to play.

The Golden Child, Cripps, can do no wrong it seems, if it was a Magpie, they would have got 3 weeks minimum, make NO mistake. Your League is corrupt McLaughlan, you all are.

We all know that if this was just some fringe player it’d be an automatic 2 weeks and everyone would agree and move on. But because it’s Cripps they’re treating this like the video of the Kennedy assassination.
im not surprised at all, it all comes down to the dollars, the whole comp is compromised, and week after week we have been playing 22 players. It’s an absolute disgrace in saying that, happy to play them full strength. We still have to beat the cats, and Brisbane. If your scared ofthe completion play tiddlywinks instead!

I have no faith whatsoever in the AFL, but plenty onthe guts and determination of our team.

This nearly identical act got a player four weeks ten years ago, back when concussion was considered less of an urgent problem:

Combine this with the Maynard and Rioli decisions from earlier in the year and the AFL policy on contact to the head has become totally incomprehensible. Every single club should now feel free to appeal every single suspension that gets handed down, because who knows, you might get lucky?

When we play them I want Adams to run from the bench with a baseball bat and lay that out, he surely would get off on appeal even though he wasn’t even playing, we can site delayed concussion for his defence.

You missed my point, clearly.

Brayden won’t miss.

terrible decision which sends the AFL into further disrepute. Clearly, they were desperate to find a loophole to clear Cripps to give Carlton a chance to play in finals, which would be more lucrative to AFL than if they didn't.

All I can say is if a thug like Jim O’dea, who king hit John Greening so hard it resulted in brain damage, went up in front of this appeal tribunal, he would have been given an innocent verdict, Champaign, and a medal. Greening would have been rubbed off for faking a brain injury

When you employ lawyers to oversee appeals, they fall over themselves to prove their underlings wrong, it’s human nature, and they want to be seen to earn their money, I would like the AFL to appeal this, surely they have the right? Not doing so is just throwing their own under the bus, the reasons given for this verdict beggar belief!!

He's named in the centre for the Swans match.

It does set up a juicy last round clash, one we will embrace.

All the conspiracy theorists are ridiculous. "If Cripps were a Collingwood player he would've got 3 weeks. The AFL wanted Cripps to play...."Blah blah blah.
Cripps got off on technicalities. The Tribunal stuffed it. Blame them! Cripps was plainly guilty, but the Tribunal still had to follow proper procedures. According to the appeals board it didn't. End of story.

Cripps is now free to play this week. Unfortunately Ah Chee isn't. But no one cares about him.

I dont buy that at all, the League wanted the golden child to play, to get the bluescum into the finals, bug eyed McLauchlan sent out the message, let him off, they did it to Hall some yrs ago, to gift the swans a flag, after he king hit the west coast player. Its totally corrupt, now its a precedent, head high tackles are fine, just appeal twice, and bobs yer Uncle, you get off, this is a very, very dangerous decision, totally corrupt. :o
