Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
We recently passed the 50th anniversary of the death (15 February 1968) of one of the 20th Century's most important musical figures. Little Walter (Marion Walter Jacobs) turned playing the harmonica into a virtuoso activity and played on some of the most important recordings in the blues canon. It's hard to think of a man who casts a longer shadow over the art of performance on his instrument.
Here's a couple of his recordings under his own name:
- an alternate take of "Blue Midnight": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXuL9t2Layo
- Juke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soXfp6Xx2VE
- My Babe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3cKJ42HAd0
These are all on a 5 CD set called "Little Walter: The Complete Chess Masters". (Which I am listening to, now).

2. No need, he hands it to me, he hates texts, refuses to learn to send them, so I have to answer them all, and he has no idea how to do anything but answer it and make calls!
3. Um, sometimes, but he also has a knack for arriving at the same time as the postie! (The postie came back later once when I had a big load from the US, when he saw his car! Gotta love that!)
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

What about this one.

That song holds some special memories for me, it was the one and only time my dancing worked. I almost broke up 2 relationships in 1 song.

Here's something really splendid - Scarbo, the third movement of Ravel's Gaspard de la Nuit, played by Nadezda Pisareva on a Bechstein at the Bechstein shop in Berlin. You've got to be brave to let them film you in HD doing this.

Here she is on a different day playing the start of some Beethoven and the end of some Liszt:

Perhaps they'll let her play the middle of something, soon?

My cuz has joined a new band. A real one this time. Genre much more his speed than the celtic punk and the rubbish he was doing with the sort of band fter that. Have a read and a listen, he's the bass player.

They've filmed a music vid for it, once it's released I'll share it but here's one from 12 months ago before he joined them. Actually looks quite professional.
