I asked my source if i could post it and he ddnt mind, as it's not his brothers player...

My source is paul Connors brother who works with me..

He told me the pies offered him 750 to 800k per year over 4 years..they increased the deal to 900k but it was heavily based on performance..

Pies basically said take it or leave, as they had other players to sign up and wanted clokes form to increase ASAP.

Clokes rejected it and pies have conceded he is gone..

How u would say Paul connors knows this, well he just signed up Reid and was told that they have the money Reid wants now.. And that they will be hunting for players
So what you are saying is that Connors who is not Trav's manager knows the exact details of the offer that was put to Trav by Collingwood??

Hmmm IF that is correct then silly old MM is right Collingwood stuffed up big time - personally I doubt Walsh and Pert are that bloody amateur and frankly stupid!

And IF Connors is so unprofessional to be sprouting such details - which again I doubt - to family and friends - then as a player I would have second thoughts having him as a manager quite frankly.

Just curious who does the illustrious brother of Connors support?
Ok firstly have u heard Connors speak in the media? He just doesn't keep his mouth shut..

He just had to apologise for having a crack at the afl..

Secondly in this industry managers are so overrated and aren't all that intelligent. Peter jess, Ricky Nixon etc...

His brother is a bomber supporter

And you would be naive to think that managers dont roughly know what other players are getting..

For god sake if robbo from the heraldsun could find out freo offered Cloke 1 million over 5, do u really think it is that hard...

Also I never said he knew the exact dollar figure but hinted between 750k to 800k, with 900 with high performance

If we dont do well in the finals I will always wonder what effect Clokes contract talks had and wont be happy.
If he's gone and its likely and we dont win a flag Ill never forgive him.
That's a very honest answer I totally agree with

I'm just very disappointed he hast really come out with any we words, it's all me words, I want to hear him say "I want to stay" not I'd like to stay, and the one time I've heard him say that, I wasn't convinced by his tone.

Whatever is going on, and maybe it's more than footy, I still think drop him this week, let the club breath....

If he's signed, play him in the ruck and run him into the ground

I don't think the Collingwood football Club has done anything wrong in it's dealing.

Credit to them as much as possible.

Where ever he goes, I will think what might have been if he stayed. Fully focused.
