what could be interesting is that the club that signs him will have to pay him a mil a year for 5 years. It could very well be that they were trying to drive his price up for us to not fit others in.
Think about the pressure he would be under if he has one or 2 years of form like the form he is in now and be on a mil.
reverse of that is if he plays 5 years the way he did last year.

No matter how differently they start, they all end the same way.Brenny wrote:Yes, but mine isn't making accusations about whether he is gone or staying, hate talk towards him or threatening him or booing him.
Mine is about you and your feelings if something else happens.
Whilst I get what you are saying and I do appreciate it, I don't think mine however is on the same level as what others are.
Like all things that are about ones feelings towards x y or z, this will be on page two by nights end.

Has anyone noticed that his manager Ralph Carr was once on the board for the Carlton Football Club, hes cousin Bruno works with me and has repeatedly told me he is a mad follower. Begs the question conflict of interest yes or no. Bruno has also told me that Ralph Carr would love to have him in the navy blue????????
Thats a concern in it self.
Just when our chance at a possible era comes around, enter not 1 but 2 new teams into the competition just tighten up our salary cap a little by forcing our hand to sign up players, then to throw a spanner in the works lets add a little free agency where trading terms change out of favour(re Cloke). What next place a limit on Football admin spending to level out the competion.
I would love a break JUST for once.

Well I beg to differ one person to point out how i was proven wrong?
Carey amongst others suggested the exact same thing..
The playing group had a big meeting with bucks after the round 3 game...
Players such as swan have since said bucks is much more full on than he will ever be etc...
Lastly players don't have to love the coach in order to succeed....many players at many clubs don't get along personally or professionally with the coach.

Correct. But if they re-signed Cloke for his asking price ($5 million a year for 5 years) they will have completely taken leave of their senses and we will definitely lose good up-and-coming players in the next year or two.Pie 65 wrote:I don't think the Collingwood football Club has done anything wrong in it's dealing.
Credit to them as much as possible.
Buddy is up for contract renewal next year. Chase him at that price. He delivers.

Chin up! It's a blessing in disguise. We can now use the money that would've gone to Cloke on a younger, hungrier, better up'n'coming forward prospect. We're not going to sit on hands. Free agency was designed specifically for us. We're the mighty Pies. We're not toothless Tigers or neutered Bulldogs.Magpie Phil wrote:Has anyone noticed that his manager Ralph Carr was once on the board for the Carlton Football Club, hes cousin Bruno works with me and has repeatedly told me he is a mad follower. I just pray Eddie doesn't keep his word and we get into a full scale tit-for-tat bidding war with Carlton over their duds like Jarrad Waite.

Prove to me your source is correct and I might believe you, otherwise, it's another bullshit thread, started by a bullshitter with a source that's bullshit.TimetoFly wrote:Have a listen to the Carey interview on mmm with Eddie...he stood by those claims and Eddie didn't fight back? Strange ??

No doubt he's probably going to leave, but anyone can make a thread with that claim.
As for Wayne Carey, don't really give a shit.
Now come up with some valid proof, and I might believe you, otherwise you are on the list of unreliable people with a fake source.
