Geez if Carlton has accepted that deal for Fevola then they are bigger idiots than I thought.

How on earth can you trade the best full forward in the comp for a 31 year old and another midfielder....something they have a surplus of.

Surely the deal looks something more like this:

Fevola + pick 27 for Bradshaw, Rischatelli, pick 12.

Carlton will need a KPF through the draft or through a trade. Bradshaw has 1 year left in him so offers nothing when Carlton's window actually opens up.

Brown/Fevola has 5 years left of service in it and is going to be dominant.

favourites...the rumour is Fevola punched Murphy, used the mic as a dildo on Gibbs' girlfriend and did something to Judd.

If that's the case, the Blues simply cannot keep him and it explains why they have not fully explained the reasons behind his departure.

Still, its a shocking deal they have made with Brisbane if the reports are true.

trade week is relatively quiet so the hun need something to draw in the punters. soon fev will be headed to freo for pav, palmer and ibbotson.

it's all quite hilarious really.

have you read the latest rumour that matthews will be coaching carlton within two years and that he does not want fevola there.

I know Dave but he hasn't broken his contract and therefore can say no to a trade. It's all rumours anyway no one knows the truth. Just like Fev to pies was a done deal. People run with rumours because they sound good.

Fev was never sacked, Carlton have always said we will only trade Fev if we get the right deal.

You cant tell me a 31 year old forward and another mid is what they meant by the right real.

Witty Jolly will be our best ruckman since Monky. Have a look at the ruckman in the GF this year. 3 of the 4 are big bodied ruckman, Jolly is this and he is also creative with his taps. He will make a huge improvement on our midfield. We will miss Wellingham, but lets be honest, at the moment he is a depth player (especially if we land ball).

Favourites...if Carlton have actually gone through with that deal...they are more stupid than I thought. That is the last thing I would've thought Carlton would've been interested in.

But I don't think Brisbane win heaps either. Seems a lose/lose trade to me.

dont be stupid (dtm)!!!

bradshaw 31 by next year got at least 1 maybe 2 years left and the other 1 nothing special will probz not get a game with their centre line.

If that deal goes through, Brisbane will have the most potent forward line in the league, and all it will cost them is an injury prone 31 year old and an average midfielder.

Pretty good deal for the lions, but only a short term fix for Carlton.
