Well, it means if Travis Johnstone doesn't sign, we might still have a shot at him in the PSD, as the Hawks probably won't have the cap space now...

Best of luck, Joel. You're a Hawk for the next 3 years. You've given up any chance of playing in a Premiership, and you'll retire poor. Hell, the Hawks will probably delist you next year, or trade you to the Dogs.

Man I cannot wait to pump the Hawks next year. Taz to kick 6 on Joel.

It's not for nothing at all. There is one less player in the PSD now. They will have upped his pay and now they won't be able to take a player on any decent salary in the PSD. It might secure us Morrison or someone like T.Johnstone or Clint Bizzell in the PSD. I'd be happy with any of those for free.
