Fly said someone stood on AJs foot.

He may not be right for Friday night but should be OK to play in the VFL on Sunday afternoon. He was training in the white top so that usually indicates playing in the VFL.

FWIW, Howe was playing in the backline during the match sim part in the last part training on Wednesday.

Every team has fundamental problems, hopefully we can cover up ours...

I have every confidence that the Pies will bounce out of the blocks on Friday night and win handsomely.

No Murphy, Moore, Johnson, Nick Daicos, Mccreery

Gives a great chance for others to shine

We still have a very good team and I think Essendon will be weakened by putting players out to surgery etcetera...

Our whole game plan stems from effort and defence first. When they're down, we give up goals and struggle to score. Fly knows that and apparently the players have been focusing on that this week.

You can't just flick a switch but you can commit to tangible things like run, tackle and effort, which results in the switch being flicked.

Pies by 42 points.

We're bloody short down back. Howe has to play back otherwise it's all on Frampton.

Yep, with 2 rucks Howe goes back...we are also playing 2 inside mids with another one as the sub. Not sure about the balance, would prefer Mitchell to have a rest and bring in McInnes

Essendon & Geelong are doing their best to pick a team to not win - they want to finish with a higher draft order - makes sense.
I find your lack of faith disturbing
