He had to agree to the trade as he was contracted.
I assume he has had a falling out with Buckley.
If I was looking in the Collingwood mirror I would want to see Stephenson's reflection rather than Buckley's.
Buckley's legacy at our club will be read in one word: FAILURE.
Don't assume he's had a falling out with the coach.
Why not? There is very good historical evidence to consider that to be a very strong possiblity.

Club has an obligation to tell us paid up members why they’ve gutted our club?

We’re just meant to sit back and accept trading away out most dynamic players for peanuts without explanation, and co Richie to pay up and support the club?

Get effed.

A deal has been done for Jaidyn Stephenson to join North Melbourne.

Under the deal, Stephenson, Atu Bosenavulagi and pick 39 go to North.

Picks 26, 33 and a future fourth-round pick go back to Collingwood.

A Shocking and a terrible decision, we have been right royally screwed, at least should have got Norfs pick 2 for him. Bloody hell, he had one rotten season, in Hub life, and other issues, and we dump him like a dirty dinner ?? For this ??. Utterly disgusted, a dreadful decision, we will rue the day on this "deal". They can stick their Membership up their arse, im done. Done.

I doubt that anyone that wanted to trade him last year is complaining. For the 99.9% of us that didn't want to trade him, this is one of the club's darkest moments for many years. We will get over it of course but I have the feeling it will take a while.

Started like a star. Ended his career with us playing scared.

Anyway you look at it, that's the wrong way around and why he was traded.

Essentially gave him away for a second rounder...yep, everything is peachy at the Club that does not owe you an explanation, keen to see how the sycophants spin this one

It’s disgusting. One of the best young players at the club and a rising star just two years ago,and the club just trades him away for practically nothing. There is something seriously wrong with the way Buckley deals with players. He can’t handle anyone who doesn’t fit into his narrow, regimented style of coaching. This has happened before and it’ll keep on happening while he’s the coach.
