I don't know why everyone's decided that putting negotiations off means he's leaving. To me, it doesn't change the situation. It just means the parties decided the media focus on the deal was too much, that the parties had not yet met agreement or terminal disagreement, and it was better to put it off and allow Trav to concentrate on footy.

We need to know what David thinks. He is making the decision.

Oh I get the parties decided the media focus on the deal was that the parties had not met agreement or terminal disagreement and it was better to put it off and allow Trav to concentrate on footy .

Surely no random Travis Cloke thread would be complete without random musings on who we should have drafted instead of the traitor and his imbecile father...

Big Ivan Maric went a pick later! And I hear good things about Benet Copping...

thebaldfacts wrote:Eade on AFL insiders basically gave no comment. Said it is all in the press release. Sounds like the Club has decided not to say anything so no more talk re Cloke.

Smells to me like the club is trying to kill all speculation to take the talk off the agenda and relieve Trav of pressure.

Would not surprise if the stance by the club causes the deal to be done sooner rather than later.

Here's hoping anyway.
It was also similarly said on AFL360.

Hopefully it works for Travis, and maybe he can prove his worth.

I dare say we might have 1 last Crack at Seasons End but It will be only on our Terms not the Cloke's
