lions might have to offer joel mcdonald instead of rischatelli for the fev deal to happen - word is he's not convinced about returning to VIC, even after the meet and greet at visy today
rumours that bradshaw failed his medical today but reckon that is unlikely
regardless, if rischatelli knocks them back as he is entitled to, he would likely have one more year of his contract at the lions then go uncontracted to gold coast
joel mcdonald seems a great pick up that no one wants at the moment... surprising given his last 18 months have been great

THE Brisbane Lions' bid for Brendan Fevola is on the brink of collapse.
The proposed deal with Carlton is in danger of being sabotaged by Michael Rischitelli's reluctance to join the Blues.
The two clubs hoped to exchange Fevola for Daniel Bradshaw and Rischitelli, but Rischitelli is believed determined to continue as a Brisbane player, despite heavy courting by Carlton officials in Melbourne yesterday.
A Brisbane official said last night: "The deal's off."
Barring a change of mind overnight by Rischitelli, Fevola's choices now seem confined to a late bid from Sydney Swans, or a return to Visy Park.

I hope rischitelli sticks to his guns. If he has a contract and is settled up there, why should he have to move. And a player of his quality won't be playing 2nds footy, no matter what they threaten.

Deal will not happen.
Fev will not go anywhere, Scum will either keep him on the list or sack him.
Scum should keep him and put him on an Alcoholic rehab plan. Show some balls scum.

Brisbane - but they need to given the shocking trades they have made so far.
Staker, Bucannan, X Clarke and Raines - none of them would be in our team, and NONE of them could make it in the teams they came from.
And Brisbane have had to give up a couple of good young players in Rischatelli and Dalziell
In breaking news, the deal seems off - Rischatelli doesn't want to go to Carlton!
