^ Twice Club Champion, actually, since you ask. 2018 and 2019. All-Australian both years and Herald-Sun player of the year in 2018.

It shouldn't happen, but Grundy will be booed by some of the supporter base.

The ONLY player I ever booed loudly, along with thousands of other Magpie fans, was the Saint thug, Jim Odea, who took out John Greening, back in the day. He copped heaps when we played them, everytime the prick went near the ball. As for Grundy, I just want to see his sullen and crestfallen face, as the magic C O O O O L ING WOOOOOOD, chant reverberates around the MCG, when we have his Toffs Deeeees, on toast. !

Footy without booing is sterile. For Grundy, depends what he does. If he acts like a dick he will be treated like one.

^ You have to be careful not to turn into St Kilda supporters. I remember how weird it was at the 2010 Grand Finals when the St Kilda supporters were more interested in booing our players than cheering their own - I suppose that's what you get when you support an irrelevant team full of thugs and talentless hacks for 35 years. I've never much worried about the opposition as targets of opprobium. Couldn't care less what they do, for the most part, so long as they lose dismally in the end. There have been a few exceptions along the way - but they were typically violent thugs of a kind that are no longer allowed to take the field at the top level.

I'm not planning to boo him, but that may change if he provokes our players or supporters

Yep, the ball is in his court now, up to him how he conducts himself on game day.

IF Grundy did really say, as reported, that hes going to "get into Pendles ", have a go at him, then hes making a very big foolish error, and is a stone moral to be booed loudly now.

Facts are missed on some. Nailed it.

I'm thinking about it strongly...
He held the club to Ransom, and never gave us 100% premiership effort.
I'm so happy Graham Wright and Craig McRae fixed the mess of Buckley and McGuire.

Wouldn't bother actually - fine player but not a clearance ruck - especially in the last few years.
Many say he didn't want to leave the pies . . .
Well then renegotiate his contract down a fair bit . . .
Nope didn't want to do that did he?
Good riddance.

I would only boo him if he antagonises us, but the default position is not to boo.

No to booing. He isn't good enough to boo, and the club wanted him gone.

No, why? We were the ones who got rid of Grundy. It wasn't his choice. Bad form if Pies fans stoop so low. We should thank him for easing our salary cap stuff ups from the previous generation.
If anyone should be booed it's Eddie and his failed regime!
