If he has 40 pass attempts like a QB, that's 40 free kicks paid against him for a throw in our back half. That's just stupid.
It'll just look like a very quick handball and commentators will mention his basketball background to account for it

Even injured, the more traffic he is in, the better he is.

Pendles in a one-on-one as arranged by the opposition dictating his movement is a complete waste of his most special talents IMO

Good to see Browny recognised for a good game. No votes for Swanny is a bit of a surprise.
Well done boys!

Great to see Toovey get a vote. Wonder if that was from Buckley?

Great to see Tooves and H rewarded. Insane that Swanny didn't figure; some of his plays and a couple of his kicks forward were stratospherically good, making a complete mockery of criticisms of his disposal. Mind you, the argument that coaches are the least biased is nonsense given they very likely have quite different objectives and criteria than fans do (very legitimate different criteria in the context of the team, I might add).

I guess the thing with no votes to Swanny is that you have to take votes off someone else. I personally had him above a few of the people who got awarded votes but really it was a flip of a coin between a large number of players other than Pendlebury, Swallow and Sidebottom, who all happened to get more votes than anyone else anyway.

Having watched the replay yesterday, whilst he might not have been completely dominant in the Ruck, I also thought Jolly really stepped up at pivotal moments in the game taking key marks in defence and through the centre of the ground.

We're blessed to have netted a footballer of such rare talent in the 2005 draft.

Onya Scotty, can't wait for you to get just desserts and become a Captain of the mighty Black and White.
