caon someone please explain to me what role eddie (or any president for that matter) has in the operations and management of the football department?

all week, all i've read about the fevola trade is about what eddie seems to want. is it that this is a simplistic supporter description of what's going on and/or is eddie involving himself where perhaps he should not be irrespective of his personal relationship with that clown?
