First time he's been held accountable, I'm surprised he didn't try "I can't recall" when asked why he wasn't wearing a mask.

Still, hopefully the fence is narrowing on Teflon Dan. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-10-07/ ... /100521078

Sorry .
My passport had expired but got it renewed last month.
Easy process, went online entered details and printed off renewal. Went to AustPost for photos and lodgement. Passport received in the mail 5 days later.

Case numbers are depressing. Here's some positive numbers, things to look forward to. Vaccination rates of over 16's.

Domain 1st dose % 2nd dose % Next Milestone
Vic 80+ 66 70% fully vaxxed in 12 days
NSW 90+ 70+ 80% fully vaxxed in 9 days
Aus 81.9 61.2 70% fully vaxxed in 12 days

Apart from anything else, you'd expect that everyone who's had 1 dose would go back for the second, so that pretty damn good numbers. It's just a matter of time now as long as people keep lining up to get their 5G upgrade.

To be honest, I've lost interest in what happens to the unvaccinated. Everyone with medical conditions that make Covid more deadly to them have had ample time to get vaccinated, the number of people who legitimately can't be vaccinated is minuscule, the rest make their choices and take their chances.

In the last 2 weeks I've seen some true heroes. People willing to spend time in PPE 24/7 for 14 days with young people in residential care. 1 was with some boys who were close contacts, thankfully all tested negative. The other is in day 5 with a young bloke who tested positive. Other people coming in and out, all knowing what they're in for, but 2 people volunteering to be the anchors. I could not be more impressed by both of them

In case the recent explosion of cases wasn't proof enough, but Victoria has finally uploaded the data to Next Strain which shows that this outbreak is in fact seperate to the removalists so the outbreak was in fact growing at a far faster rate than the NSW one did.
