I am stunned by the speed of Bob's passing. Obviously things weren't good, but it was only a couple of hours ago I was wishing for him to be made comfortable. I didn't expect him to be gone so soon and I hope the end was peaceful.

There is really nothing more to be said except, somehow, my aspirations for Collingwood this year have suddenly risen. I want the flag to be brought home for Bobby. I feel as heartbroken as a fan of the game can be right now.

Its a sad loss for collingwood very sad indeed..Its my opinion Bob Rose was collingwood, He was a gentleman and a great family man an inspiration to us all...a big part of collingwood has also passed away with the passing of Bob Rose.

Gone but never forgotten.
Collingwood today, Collingwood tomorrow,Collingwood forever... we'll always do things the collingwood way... side by side we stick together to uphold the greatest name in football.
